Biofuels Digest Index dips to 79.35 on a broad drop in equities

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, shed 1.46 percent to 79.35 on a broad drop in equities.  For the day, KiOR (KIOR) soared 28.21 percent to $0.18, while Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 3.16 percent to $8,52. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) plunged 6.10 percent to $20.01. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
