USDA chief says Obama administration still behind 15 billion gallon ethanol goal

In Washington, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack says the Obama administration is set on getting ethanol production to the 15 billion gallon mark laid out by Congress, which could only be done with more gas stations offering higher blends. He figures the final RFS for 2014 will be higher than the 13 billion gallons the EPA indicated last year but wasn’t sure if the quotas would be raised to the original 14.4 billion gallons.
