September 17, 2014 |

In South Dakota, a 70 million gallon per year corn-based ethanol plant is being proposed in Onida. Plans are underway for a public hearing for a conditional land use permit at the proposed site. The feasibility study for the facility is being completed, with 10% of the ethanol produced expected to be consumed within the state while the rest would be shipped by rail elsewhere.
