Sugar mills supply 10 million liters to oil companies so far

In India, sugar mills have supplied Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum 10 million liters of ethanol so far this year. The road and transportation minister sees ethanol production as a way to reduce the oil import bill and provide economic development to the country, especially to Uttar Pradesh where opportunities exist to create small businesses supporting the ethanol industry.
