Total may invest in biodiesel facility at oil refinery near Marseille

In France, Total is thinking to include a biodiesel production facility as part of an oil refinery upgrade at the La Mede refinery near Marseille. Investments to upgrading the site to comply with environmental regulations by 2018 could reach up to $475 million. Decision on the potential upgrade and investment is due in the spring.
