Biofuels Digest Index drops to 73.50 as ethanol equities fall

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.97 percent to 73.50 as ethanol equities fell. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) lost 3.32 percent to $3.79, while Solazyme (SZYM) tumbled 4.11 percent to $7.46. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) declined 6.37 percent to $13.96. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
