Biofuels Digest Index falls to 70.21 as advanced biofuels tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, resumed its downward march, falling 1.75 percent to 70.21 as advanced biofuels tumbled. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) fell 8.02 percent to $0.28, while BioAmber (BIOA) dropped 7.02 percent to $9.01. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dumped 10.26 percent to $11.89. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
