Man gets three years in federal prison for ethanol investment scam

In Washington state, Robert J. Braun has pleaded guilty to five counts of wire and securities fraud related to a fake ethanol plant investment he tried to sell to investors. He will spend three years in federal prison and must return $1.5 million to investors. Of the 60 investors, they have recuperated about 1% of their investment. In some cases he was offering returns of over 700%.
