Indonesia sees biodiesel blending reducing diesel imports by 28.6%

In Indonesia, biodiesel blending is expecting to reduce diesel imports by 28.6%. In addition to lower consumption of foreign exchange, the government will also benefit from a wide range of increased taxes from land and building taxes to corporate taxes. The food affairs minister says the country’s palm oil industry still has room to expand and boost domestic consumption.
