Philippines biomass power company to launch IPO

In the Philippines, Green Power Panay Philippines wants to raise $6.47 million in an IPO on the Philippines Stock Exchange to fund a 35MW biomass-based power plant in Mina, Iloilo, Panay. The company already owns 11ha to host the power plant and biomass storage. The IPO is offering 145 million shares in the company at about 4.5 cents each.
