mathurTell us about your organization and it’s role in the Advanced Bioeconomy.

Industrial gas company with strong interest in supporting and investing in bio-based emerging companies in industrial commercialization. Very interested in processes that use oxygen, hydrogen, CO2 and other industrial gases as process feed or to enhance productivity. Gas technology core competencies and R&D could improve process productivity.

Tell us about your role and what you are focused on in the next 12 months.

  • Identifying and qualifying process technologies and emerging companies for partnership with the objectives of accelerating commercialization thru capital and technology infusion. Processes that use industrial gases like oxygen, hydrogen and CO2 are of stronger interest.
  • Seek companies that have completed process development and are ready to commercialize technologies.

What do you feel are the most important milestones the industry must achieve in the next 5 years?

Several commercial operations with sound competitive economics

If you could snap your fingers and change one thing about the Advanced Bioeconomy, what would you change?

Get same government incentives/subsidies as petroleum

Of all the reasons that influenced you to join the Advanced Bioeconomy industry, what single reason stands out for you as still being compelling and important to you?

Environmentally superior
