Triton finalizes acquisition of GEA Heat Exchangers

In Germany, Triton has finalized its acquisition of GEA Heat Exchangers. With the deal closed, Triton will be looking to push GEA’s products further into the markets for power generation, exploration, chemistry/ petrochemistry, food and beverages, and other process industries including water and air treatment. The business units within GEA Heat Exchangers are also being reorganized, with one segment to focus specifically on areas related to climate and the environment. This segment will include all products for applications of HVAC technology.

The company will also soon be debuting a new brand which is yet to be established.

The Triton funds invest in and support the positive development of medium-sized businesses headquartered in Northern Europe – with a focus on Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the four Nordic countries. The 29 companies currently in Triton’s portfolio have combined sales around €13.5 billion and more than 60,000 employees.
