Malaysia’s FGV Biotechnologies to export 100,000 tons of biodiesel annually

In Malaysia, FGV Biotechnologies plans to boost its palm oil biodiesel exports to 70% of its total production, equaling about 100,000 metric tons annually, with main export destinations including the EU, China, the United States and South-East Asia. Rather than using CPO like most biodiesel producers, the company uses Palm Fatty Acid Distillates, which it says is 15%-20% cheaper to process than CPO.
