Four more ethanol buses to join India pilot in January

November 12, 2014 |

In India, the Scania ethanol bus set to trial in Nagpur will at last begin circulating on Nov. 17 following fare-setting delays. Though the approval for extension of the project for another six months hasn’t yet been granted, it has been announced that from January, the bus will be joined by four more buses, bringing the trial to a total of five vehicles. Scania is paying for the entire project, from fuel to staff and vehicles.
