Zambian biofuel producers want government to set up low-cost investment fund

In Zambia, the chairman of the country’s biofuels association is pushing for the government to set up a biofuels investment fund that would allow local investors and project developers to access low-cost finance for project implementation. The country’s biofuel policy seeks locally-sourced biofuels and he says this fund would help ensure that goal is achieved.
