Biosynthetic Technologies receives ILSAC GF-5 certification on two oil formulations

In California, Biosynthetic Technologies has received ILSAC GF-5 certification on both their SAE 5W-20 and 5W-30 grade passenger car motor oil (PCMO) formulations using its Biosynthetic Base Oil. The designation demonstrates the oil’s demonstrated 3.05% fuel economy improvement.

Biosynthetic Technologies worked with Infineum, a global leader in the manufacturing and marketing of lubricant and fuel additives, to formulate and test these PCMO formulations. As part of this collaboration, these certified PCMO formulations will be made available to marketers interested in selling ultra-high-performance Biosynthetic motor oils.
