EIA says October ethanol production down just slightly from September

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency says that ethanol production held fairly steady in October, at 1.157 billion gallons, down just 10.36 million gallons from September. Production in October was the lowest in eight months and the third consecutive shrinking production level. Ethanol prices continue to slip, tightening crush margins throughout the month of October.
