Indonesia wants private sector to invest in significant biodiesel production

In Indonesia, the government is calling on the private sector to boost biodiesel production by 4 billion liters by 2016, as it expects consumption to increase to 8 billion liters by then. Current installed capacity is around 5.6 billion liters. Companies such as Wilmar are said to be looking to boost capacity.
