FlexFuel Awareness Campaign has strong showing in Maryland and Virginia

In Maryland and Virginia, the FlexFuel Awareness Campaign completed part of its Mid Atlantic Alternative Fuel Road Show highly successfully last week. The FlexFuel Awareness Campaign focuses on the message that high level ethanol blends and FlexFuel Vehicles (FFVs ) are an option for private and government fleets as well as  individual consumers,  and that they can be very competitive among the family of legally defined alternative fuels.  All vehicles can operate on E15 and these FFVs can also operate on mid- level blends like E30 as well as E85.

The ethanol portion of the program was sponsored by  Growth Energy, The Nebraska Ethanol Board, the Kansas,  Maryland, and Nebraska Grain and Corn Boards,  Ethanol Products, Lallemand Biofuels and Distilled Spirits,  and the Clean Fuels Development Coalition.
