UNICA says hydrous ethanol at 65% of gasoline price

In Brazil, UNICA says that hydrous ethanol prices are falling, which will in turn boost demand for ethanol consumption domestically. Currently ethanol is at BRL1.88 compared to BRL290 per liter of gasoline, putting ethanol at about 65% the price of gasoline compared to the rule of thumb that says 70% is the breakeven mark based on energy content.
