Port of Hull officially opens new biofuel port terminal

In the UK, the new biofuel port terminal at Hull has been officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Hull Mary Glew. The millions of metric tons of wood pellets imported from North America on an annual basis will power the nearby Drax Power Station. Plans are in place to develop biofuel port terminals at Immingham and Goole as well.
