Ethanol exports up 31% on year but that’s nothing compared to 2020

In Illinois, ethanol exports have increased 31% this year, the highest seen since 2011, but Citibank expects exports to double 2010’s levels between 2015-2020 at around 1 billion gallons per year. The longer the RFS remains in limbo, the more attractive and vital exports become. The RFA has already traveled on trade missions to Peru, Panama, Japan and South Korea while Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines are planned for this month.
