Boho factor soars to 16-month high leaving biodiesel producers in the lurch

In New York state, biodiesel’s boho factor has hit 34.02 cents/gal, up 4.83 cents at the highest level since July 2013, indicating poorer blending margins due to higher soyoil prices used to blend in heating oil. Heating oil prices have sunk, following oil prices south to below $60 last Friday. Biodiesel producers are considering shutdowns based on the rising boho factor.
