Traders buy up to 15 cargos of DDGS for export to China as ban prepares to lift

In China, traders are expecting the country to lift the ban on GMOs so soon that they’ve already sealed deals for as many as 15 cargoes of DDGS between December and March. If the new shipments are allowed to discharge, then more shipments will follow. Chinese officials who spoke with Bloomberg confirmed the decision to allow GMO corn imports had been approved but wasn’t yet public.
