Biofuels proponents think 2015 might be their year with greener legislature

December 19, 2014 |

In Oregon, biofuels supporters expect to have a better go in the 2015 legislative session to get the Clean Fuels Act finally operational. Democrats picked up two state senate and one house seat, tipping the balance to a decidedly democratic majority, which is expected to help the policy that requires gas and diesel to low GHG emissions by 10% over the next decade. The governor has made the policy his number 1 priority for energy and climate issues during the 2015/16 session.
