Indian ethanol prices rising for non-fuel use after government set price floor

In India, other ethanol users such as the chemical industry are paying as much as 5% more to secure their ethanol after the government set a price floor two weeks ago in order to end the deadlock between oil marketing companies and sugar mills. What’s more, contracts are being signed for future deliveries of ethanol from sugar mills.
