Iowa’s gas stations looking for grants to replace underground storage tanks

In Iowa, the Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores of Iowa is asking state legislators to expand an existing grant program that helps retail stations offset the cost of installing E85 pumps to include those compatible with E100. Such a move would allow stations to replace their existing underground storage tanks, many of which are reaching or have passed their useful life of 25-30 years.
