Blue Ride Biofuels looking to expand production to 3 million gallons by 2017

In North Carolina, Blue Ridge Biofuels is moving into its new facility at the Biodiesel Research Facility in the Catawba County EcoComplex, a Silver LEED certified building powered by methane from the nearby landfill, where its production is expected to jump to 1 million gallons in 2015 from 340,000 gallons in 2014. Production should reach 2 million gallons in 2016 and 3 million gallons in 2017.
