January 8, 2015 |

In Oregon, the state’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard was approved by the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission in a 4-1 vote on Wednesday. Carbon emissions of fuels sold in the state will have to emit 10% fewer emissions over the next decade which is expected to prompt demand for biofuel blending. California and British Columbia already have similar policies while Washington state is developing one.
