Oil World sees EU’s 2015 rapeseed harvest down 15% due to bug infestation

In Germany, Oil World says the EU’s 2015 rapeseed crop could be as much as 15% smaller following a 2013 ban on a major pesticide that was said to harm bees, and therefore discontinued. The analysts estimate production could be as low as 20.5 million metric tons, down from a record 24 million tons in 2014.
