Southeast to get its own biofuels testing lab

January 14, 2015 |

In North Carolina, the Enka campus of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College is set to host the Southeast’s first biofuels testing lab, allowing local producers to have their batches tested quicker, easier and cheaper than having to send them to Iowa or Oregon for testing. The facility was partly funded by grants from A-B Tech and the state’s Department of Agriculture via the defunct Biofuels Center of North Carolina.
