Roxol Bioenergy shuts down voluntarily to deal with pollution challenges

In the Philippines, Roxol Bioenergy has voluntarily shut down ethanol production temporarily following formal complaints by 757 area fisherman that the facility’s waste had led to fish kills. The 30 million liter per year plant is currently working on putting pollution controls in place but it’s unclear when it plans to re-open.
