Tell us about your company and it’s role in the Advanced Bioeconomy.

Our company has been established with one goal in mind and that is to produce and supply the local market with a quality bio diesel product which has been eagerly awaited for by the industry.

Tell us about your role and what you are focused on in the next 12 months.

As the CEO my goal is to establish our company in South Africa as the preferred supplier to the energy industry. To do this we have to join hands with international investor/s. I am concentrating on setting the benchmark for quality in the industry, which has only been commercialy established the past year.

What do you feel are the most important milestones the industry must achieve in the next 5 years?

To achieve the goals as set by governments the world over to limit earth warming, companies must take their involvement seriously in developing the best technologies for more advanced bio fuels.Promoting bio fuels over mineral fuels must take precedence and this can be achieved by lobbying local government as well as national government

If you could snap your fingers and change one thing about the Advanced Bioeconomy, what would you change?

The incredibly slow pace of international investors who does not see the long term possibilities.I would like to knock stock feed brokers for a six,as they are chasing prices through the roof.

Of all the reasons that influenced you to join the Advanced Bioeconomy industry, what single reason stands out for you as still being compelling and important to you?

The single most important reason I became involved with bioeconomy is the enormous potential it has to unlock future energy.

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in South Africa

What’s the biggest lesson you ever learned during a period of adversity?

During adverse conditions, whether in your personal life or in business, one must stay focused on the end goal. This can be anything you have set your mind to achieve.Circumstances change daily but keep focused and reach your destination.

What’s your favorite city or place to visit, for a holiday?

Kuala Lumpur is the most relaxed city one can go, to enjoy and relax.the people are friendly and go out of their way to assist.
