Buriram Sugar to invest $30.6 million in ethanol plant

In Thailand, Buriram Sugar plans to invest $30.6 million in a 150,000 liter per day ethanol plant despite falling oil prices because the government is still continuing to support biofuels. The company just inaugurated a second co-generation boiler adding 9MW of additional power production for the national grid.
