Pittsburgh looking to scale up biodiesel hybrid trial to 20 vehicles

In Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh city council is debating a contract for $150,000 with Optimus Technologies to install new fuel systems to 20 trucks in the Department of Public Works in order to run on biodiesel, effectively creating hybrid engines, as well build a fueling station. Already the city has been testing the technology on five of its trucks since 2013.
