Newest South Dakota ethanol plant one step closer to getting permit

In South Dakota, Ring-Neck Energy and Feed has succeeded in getting the site it wants for its future ethanol plant near Onida rezoned to allow the facility. The company hopes to have the $65 million, 70 million gallon corn-based facility online by the end of 2016 but expects to still run into opposition from the community who don’t want it sited so close to town.
