Wyoming governor signs law to lob road tax on alternative fuels

In Wyoming, the governor has signed into law a bill that will tax ethanol and biodiesel 24 cents per gallon, the same as for gasoline and diesel. CNG is included in the long list of alternative fuels that will be impacted by the new tax. Alternative fuels currently aren’t subject to tax. The governor feels that all fuels should have to pay to upkeep roads, not just fossil fuels.
