Argentina cuts ethanol prices up to 5% for March

In Argentina, the Energy Secretariat cut the price oil companies pay for sugarcane-based ethanol by 0.9% compared to February to 97 cents per liter while corn ethanol prices were cut by 5% to 80 cents per liter. Ethanol production reached 533,978 metric tons in 2014, up 43% on the year. The country boosted its ethanol blend to 10% in December.
