Biofuels Digest Index tumbles to 65.62 as ethanol equities slide

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, tumbled 2.34 percent to 65.62 as ethanol equities slid. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dumped 7.56 percent to $10.40,  while Gevo (GEVO) lost 7.36 percent to $0.26. Among other equities, BioAmber (BIOA) shed 4.65 percent to $9.22. Overall, declines led advances by a 5 to 1 ratio for the day.
