As US gasoline demand drops, ethanol production jumps to 11% of gas demand

In the US, ethanol production averaged 944,000 barrels per day, 39.65 million gallons daily, up 13,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 947,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 14.52 billion gallons. That’s the lowest four-week average since mid-November 2014.
