Pemex to offer 5.8% ethanol at the pump

In Mexico, Pemex will soon offer 5.8% ethanol blends at the pump following deals with ethanol suppliers for up to 123 million liters of ethanol per year during the next 10 years. The ethanol will be produced from sugarcane and sorghum and will be valued at between $524 and $750 million. The company plans to invest $58 million in blending infrastructure as well as close more ethanol supply deals going forward.
