US Ethanol production continues on upward trend

In the US, ethanol production for last week averaged 947,000 barrels per day (b/d)—or 39.77 million gallons daily. That is up 3,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 942,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 14.44 billion gallons.

Gasoline demand for the week averaged 388.9 million gallons daily. Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 10.23%.
