Old Town Fuel & Fiber Mill biorefinery heads to the auction block

In Maine, a series of heavy-duty pieces of machinery, including a biomass feed system, 15 tanks, an air compressor and a decanter centrifuge belonging to the DOE-supported Old Town Fuel & Fiber Mill will be auctioned off later this month, with bids open between April 14 and April 16. The paper mill was forced into bankruptcy by creditors last year and picked up by a Wisconsin-based paper mill but the biorefinery wasn’t part of the sale.
