Biofuels Digest Index slides to 67.35 as advanced biofuels slump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, lost 0.46 percent to 67.35 as advanced biofuels slumped. For the day, Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) dropped 8.77 percent to $0.05, while Shell (RDS) fell 3.69 percent to $59.83. Among other equities, Solayzyme (SZYM) rallied 2.17 percent to $3.29. Overall, declines led advances by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
