Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 70.38 despite an enzymes decline

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, edged up 0.21 percent to 70.38 despite an enzymes decline. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 6.51 percent to $4.42, while Gevo (GEVO) dropped 7.69 percent to $0.18. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) settled back 10.99 percent to $5.02. Overall, declines led advances by a 8 to 7 ratio for the day.
