Midwest crushing margins higher thanks to spot demand

Across the Midwest, the crushing margins for corn-based ethanol was up last week by nearly 6% to 64.19 cents/gal, a four-month high. Even though feedstock prices were up slightly, spot demand for ethanol boosted prices and therefore the crush margin.
