Raizen ethanol production up 1% in 2014/15 at 2.06 billion liters

In Brazil, Cosan expects that Raizen produced about 1% more ethanol during 2014/15 over the previous year at 2.06 billion liters, despite sugar production being down about 9% during the same period. Drought impacted the sugar content of cane, pulling down sugar production. For 2015/16, the company expects ethanol production to remain about the same at between 1.9 billion and 2.1 billion liters.
