Ensus to remain mothballed for foreseeable future

In the UK, the Ensus ethanol plant is going to remain mothballed until there is a “sustained improvement” in market condition that warrant starting up production again. The plant has been offline since February and CropEnergies says that ethanol prices remain below the cost of production. The company says 2014/15 has been the most difficult year for it financially.
