CHS buys Illinois ethanol plant for $196 million

In Illinois, CHS will pay $196 million for Patriot Holdings that owns an ethanol plant in Annawan. REX American Resources Corp owns 26.6% of Patriot so will earn about $49 million from the sale that is expected to close around June 1.
