ADM pulls back from ethanol as demand flattens

In Minnesota, ADM is pulling back from ethanol production and high fructose corn syrup to focus more on other high value food ingredients where the company thinks it will get more value from its global corn supplies. More niche products are expect to help the company buoy from the flat demand expectations from ethanol going a decade into the future.
